home/team meetings

What are these?

A place and time for the local team to get together but without incurring the overheads and costs involved with using traditional meeting venues.  They are a more relaxed setting and can provide a means to show your business to prospects without relying on a company schedule.

They are the ideal place for you and the local team to

  • Learn, practice and develop many skills
  • Increase your confidence from the practicing
  • Show interested prospects what you do
  • Periodically have a social time rather than just 'working'
  • Keep costs to a minimum
  • Engage remote members using technology (Zoom, Skype, etc)

There doesn't have to be a fixed format or agenda but try to keep to some pattern for ease of planning and knowing where they will be!

Rotate the role of 'hosting' the meetings even if they are in the same location each time.  The idea of these meetings is to be minimal overhead and prior planning.  You don't need to create any power point presentations or need a projector.  We have on the website suggested Lessons that cover important or typical hot topics and these can be selected for the meetings role play exercises.

Important point - The majority of Partners will read or listen to lots of material but rarely practice any of it until they are face to face with a prospect.  Then guess what happens? Panic sets in, nerves, loss of confidence, mind goes blank...

So, why not avoid the above happening by role playing all of the things that you need to be proficient at and then when you need to discuss topics about your business, you can, without panic!
